The Department of Psychology of The Union Institute University supports the practice of protection for human participants in research. The following information is provided so that you can decide whether you want to participate in the present study. You should be aware that even if you agree to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time or refuse to give certain information. By filling out the questionnaire you indicate your consent to participate.
In this study, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire assessing some demographic information (age, gender, race), information about your relationship with the stalker(s), and details about the stalkerís behaviors and characteristics.
Please be assured that your name will not be required, thus your responses will be anonymous. That is, you will not be identified with your responses. Moreover, the data you provide will be combined with those of other persons and presented in the form of a professional paper. Please be as accurate as possible in the information that you provide.
Your participation is strictly voluntary. Do not hesitate to ask questions about the study. By participating you are greatly helping us to understand important aspects of stalking behavior. We appreciate your cooperation very much and hope that this will be an educational experience for you.
